The difference between high frequency board and HDI board

time:Jan 13. 2022, 15:47:21 Views:110

High-frequency boards are used in industries such as radar detection, instrumentation and automobile anti-collision system software, communication satellite system software, and wireless communication system software. HDI boards are used in electronic products with small size and multiple devices, and the bottom products use double panels.

High-frequency board is a special circuit board with high electromagnetic frequency, and its technical performance, precision and performance parameters are very high. It is usually made of FR4 glass white fiber board, and a whole sheet is made of epoxy glass cloth. The color of this board is symmetrical and bright. The relative density is higher than that of the low-frequency board. Under normal circumstances, high-frequency boards are used in power circuits with frequencies exceeding 1G. Its dielectric constant is very important. It must be very small and stable, with little dielectric loss, not easy to absorb water and moisture, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, etc. characteristic***.

HDI board is a kind of high circuit density circuit board using micro blind via technology. The HDI board has an inner layer route and an outer layer route, using processing techniques such as punching and metallization in the hole to keep the internal structure of each layer route connected. It is a compact product designed for small volume customers. It adopts a modular design scheme that can be connected in parallel. One module has a storage capacity of one thousand volt amperes (1U high), with natural heat dissipation, and can be placed in a 19-inch rack. When large, 6 modules can be connected in parallel. The product adopts all-digital signal processing and control (DSP) technology and a number of patented technologies, and has a full range of load adaptability and strong short-term overload capability.
